The current price of cerium oxide rose to 1.68 million yuan - 1.7 million yuan / ton, the price of cerium oxide rose to 3.8 million yuan - 3.9 million yuan / ton. The relevant suppliers basically have no willingness to ship, and the market is further improved after the quiet period, resulting in relatively tight supply in the market.

From a policy perspective, the Ministry of Commerce said on January 21 that since January 1, 2015, the export quota management of rare earths has been cancelled, and the export tariffs on rare earths expired on May 2. At present, the tariffs on light rare earth and heavy rare earth products are 15% and 25% respectively. As the WTO organization ruled that China's rare earth case lost, the export quota and export tariff policy will be completely revoked. Under the abolition of the export tariff policy, plans for rare earth resource taxes are expected to accelerate.
