Vibration bending or pressing can generate electricity

The five members of the Japan Energy Harvesting Federation (EHC) focused on energy-harvesting power generation technology based on vibration power generation at Smart Energy Japan 2015 (January 28 to January 30, 2015). It is intended for applications such as infrastructure and equipment monitoring, medical health monitoring, and power supply for sensor networks.

Fuji Electric demonstrates vibration power generation module

Used as a wireless transmission power supply for motor fault diagnosis system

Fuji Electric's demonstration used the vibration power generation module as the power source for the company's wireless motor fault diagnosis system "Wiserot" (Fig. 1). The power generation mode is a sub-distortion type, and the electromotive force is obtained by the change in the magnetic flux when the element in the magnetic field is deformed under vibration. The Fujitsu commentator said that "the construction is very simple, not easy to fail, and high reliability." Wiserot is a system that monitors the vibration of a motor and wirelessly sends monitoring data to the computer on a daily basis. Fuji Electric performed a demonstration of the vibration of the motor (rotating at a frequency of about 85 Hz) using the Wisoter at the venue. By installing a vibration power generation module for the motor, data is transmitted using the power generated by the vibration. However, because the electromotive force is extremely small, it is first stored in a capacitor in the vibration power generation module, and the data required for the data transmission is transmitted, and then the data is transmitted.

Thanks to the elimination of the Wisoter battery, it is possible to help monitor the motor in locations where it is difficult for people in the plant or factory to access it. Fuji Electric narrator said, "Although the cost of each module is higher than the battery, but some equipment needs to monitor dozens of motors, from the inspection of the manpower and cost spent, it is still very cost-effective." The company plans to commercialize the vibration power generation module in early 2016. At that time, in addition to being used as a power supply for Wisset, the module will be provided separately for tens of thousands of yen.

Adamant's Vibration Power Generation Device

Adamant (Headquarters: Tokyo) also exhibited a vibration power generation device that the company is currently developing (Figure 2). This is an electromagnetic induction type device. In addition to the vibration type that uses the vibration of about 9 to 25 Hz to generate electricity, this time also discloses a variety of models such as a hand-operated type and a forced driving type using a slide bar. According to the company, vibration-type products can obtain 90mW of actual power at 20Hz frequency and 2G acceleration. Adamant's narrator said, "The power generation efficiency is very high, reaching about 10%, which is twice the normal vibration power generation components." It is intended for applications such as sensor network power for infrastructure monitoring and is planned to be commercialized in the spring of 2015. In addition, Star Precision Co., Ltd. has exhibited a "battery-free wireless sensor unit" that integrates sensors such as an accelerometer and a temperature sensor, a vibration power generation module, and a wireless communication module.

Alps Electric demonstrated switch-mode power generation input devices (Figure 3). The working principle is that when the switch with a stroke of 2.7 mm is pressed once, the angle of the magnet and the yoke between the two stator yokes changes to generate an electromotive force (Fig. 4). It can produce 170μW power at a time. If these powers are used to wirelessly send and receive switch information, it is no longer necessary to switch wiring, and switches can be installed in any position. The company has also developed a style for implanting wireless modules in the lower part. The power generation switch is used for applications such as a call button such as a nurse call, a position detection button of a robot arm, and a button for a street light that has a troublesome wiring operation. According to the Alps Electric commentator, "applicable to switches that are not frequently used and that are difficult to find when the battery is out of use, and the use frequency is high and the battery is used up quickly." Mass production is expected around summer 2015. The price is uncertain, but the company said it intends to produce 10,000 a year and sells for around 500-700 yen.

The structure and characteristics of the power switch

After coating the piezoelectric element, it becomes a power generation suit

MUNEKATA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukushima City) exhibited a piezoelectric element that can be transformed into a power-generating element as long as the material can bend or vibrate (Fig. 5). After a resin-based piezoelectric element is dissolved in a solution and sprayed to form a piezoelectric element film, the object can be bent, vibrated, or twisted to generate electricity. (However, when the object is an insulator, an electrode film needs to be formed before spraying. ). This piezoelectric element was jointly developed by the company and Takushoku University and Cornes Technology Corporation (headquarters: Tokyo).

Although a resin-based piezoelectric element has a lower power generation than a ceramic-based piezoelectric element, by coating a piezoelectric element, various materials such as metal, resin, glass, and cloth can be used as a power-generating element. In fact, the three companies have already developed power generation suits that incorporate thin films for power generation. Moreover, since the electromotive force can be detected, such a piezoelectric element can also be used as a vibration sensor. For example, a piezoelectric element can be applied to a metal part of a pipe hanging from a device to perform vibration detection. The product is currently sampling. In addition, in the EHC exhibition area, Fujikura also exhibited a sensor network system that is being developed that combines a fuel-sensitized solar cell and an environmental sensor. The title of the Circular Pipe Fan

The circular Pipe Fan is an ideal ventilator with the perfect combination of performance and appearance. The clever cooperation between the newly designed chassis and the centrifugal impeller makes the gas hydromechanics reach the extreme, and its shape is small and very practical. With easy installation, light weight, low noise and so on. For the air, exhaust, return air and air purification to provide the source of power, high pressure can take tens of meters of pipe, a fan control multi-zone centralized ventilation, commonly used in real estate buildings, indoor ventilation Or pipe pressure. Circular duct fans can be the same size on both sides of the pipe, while the other side into the wind out of the wind

working principle

Circular duct blower with wing-shaped backward impeller, high-speed operation of gas hydrodynamics to the extreme, so the energy efficiency is very high, up to 70%, which means that with the smallest motor power delivery maximum wind power, which is normal Forward Centrifugal Fan can not achieve the effect. Therefore, both the fan duct energy-saving and strong winds. Ultra-high pressure can take tens of meters of pipe concentrate ventilation, the main characteristic of the pipeline fan is the pressure. Replace the traditional ventilation equipment. Fan vibration-free, dynamic balance of less than 0.17g, only the standard value to ensure the superior quality fan, imported metal impeller or PP plastic perforated in accordance with the wing, which is characterized by strong rigidity, high temperature, environmental protection, air volume Large, but also to a certain extent reduce the noise.

Round tube fan core with an external rotor motor, its life depends on the bearing, the motor uses imported single deep groove ball bearings, external rotor motor compact structure, small size, energy efficient, pure imported bearings, 120 ℃ automatic parking hot Protection, high-quality copper winding and so on. 24h continuous operation can be more than 30,000 hours.

About noise

Motor does not make any sound, the fan is mainly air flow sound, because the impeller speed is high 2500 rpm, resulting in high pressure air volume is high, so you can take a long pipe with the same and to ensure that does not affect the air flow. If you use it when you sleep at night, it is certainly noisy. However, you can reduce the speed to reduce the noise, it is to ensure that there is sufficient air volume to reduce the speed.
