What is EPDM waterproofing membrane? How to use the specification?

EPDM waterproofing membrane (referred to as EPDM membrane) is made of EPDM rubber mixed with an appropriate amount of butyl rubber, vulcanizing agent, accelerator, softener and reinforcing agent, etc. , extrusion molding and other processes from processing. Because there is no double bond in the main chain of the EPDM molecular structure, when it is affected by ozone, ultraviolet rays, and damp heat, the main bond is not easily broken, so it has excellent weather resistance, aging resistance, It has high tensile strength, high elongation, adaptability to base layer stretching or cracking, value, light weight, wide operating temperature range (long-term use in the range of -40 to +80°C), and is a kind of high-efficiency waterproof material. . It can also be cold-built, easy to operate, reduce environmental pollution, and improve the working conditions of workers. There are vulcanized and non-vulcanized types on the market.

Regulatory use:

Do not spread self-adhered webs on frozen surfaces;

Cannot be constructed on grassroots that are polluted and have high moisture content;

Packaging and release paper for self-adhesive webs can only be removed before and during pasting;

When the sealant is used up, the container should be tightened and sealed in time;

Storage and Transportation

Materials should be stored in a dry, ventilated environment to prevent sun and rain. Different types and sizes of rolls should be stacked separately.

It is better to stack no more than 5 floors and no more than 2 floors.

Under normal conditions, the storage date is one year (from the date of production).
