Waterproof concrete impermeability specimens how to retain, production and conservation?

The waterproof concrete impermeability test specimen shall be made at the pouring place, so that the test piece production conditions and the pouring conditions of the concrete are the same, so that the result of the test piece can more reflect the quality of the concrete component.

A group of impervious test pieces shall be placed every 500m3 of continuous pouring concrete, and one group shall be six impervious test pieces, and each project shall not be less than two groups. Impervious test pieces of ready-mixed concrete shall be treated according to structure. The scale and requirements are determined by the owner's representative, supervisor and contractor before the concrete is poured. With the ever-increasing scale of underground projects, if there are too many impermeability specimens to be detained, it will inevitably result in too much work, and the required test time will be too long, and it will lose its meaning because it is not timely.

The impermeability of waterproof concrete shall be assessed using the test results of concrete impermeability test specimens under standard conditions. The curing conditions of the test pieces are different, and the obtained results are also different. The conditions for natural conservation are relatively large, and the persuasion power obtained by the data is limited. With heat curing, the capillary pores are expanded by steam pressure, and the impermeability of the concrete is drastically reduced. The maintenance is carried out under the standard conditions of a humidity of 20±3°C and a relative humidity of 90% or more, so that the quality of the concrete can be evaluated uniformly and clearly.
