Selection and installation of leakage protector

Although the role of the leakage protector has certain limitations, its functional advantages cannot be erased. In order to prevent electric shocks and fire accidents caused by ground faults, all electrical equipment should be placed under ground fault protection as required except for equipment and lines that will cause more serious consequences. The end socket circuit inevitably needs to use some mobile and hand-held electrical equipment. These are the most prone to ground faults and the greatest risk of electric shock. To ensure the safety of electricity, no matter the grounding system, the end socket circuit A leakage protector should be installed, and it should be a high-sensitivity common type leakage protector. Its rated operating current In is not more than 30mA, and the operating time of 5 times In current is not more than 0.04s. It not only protects against electric shock (including direct contact with electric shock), but also prevents arcing grounding failures. If the overcurrent protection of the fixed equipment cannot meet the requirement of cutting off the ground fault within 5s, the leakage protector should also be installed. If the overcurrent protection on the building power supply line cannot cut off the ground fault within 5s, an S (selection) type leakage protector with a small delay should be installed to ensure the selectivity with the lower leakage protector. The In is preferably 100 to 500 mA; and the operation time at 5 times the In current is not more than 0.15 s. This S-type leakage protector is used to protect all electrical devices, but it is mainly used to prevent fires caused by ground faults, and also as a backup for the leakage protection of the socket circuit.

Leakage protector installation

For a residential building, a common type of leakage protector is installed in the socket circuit of each distribution box, and the S-type leakage protector used for fire protection is installed only on the power supply total line of the whole building. For large electrical installations, a primary leakage protector can be added. The In value and cut-off time can be determined on a case-by-case basis.

For the TT system, due to the small ground fault current, a leakage protector must be installed to prevent electrical accidents caused by ground faults. The IEC standard stipulates that if only one leakage protector is installed in the electrical equipment of the TT system, the leakage protector must be installed on the power supply main line to ensure that the entire electrical device is under its protection. If the overcurrent protection device on the power supply line of the TN system electrical power supply can cut off the ground fault occurring in the device within 5s, the leakage protector may not be installed on the power supply total line.

Our company produces a vary of specifications of Glass Particles and glass-lumps which can be used in ordinary pavement of road to shorten braking distance effectively, to improve the warning role and to decelerate in advance to achieve safety. Pavement laid with this product will not peel off and maintain function well after a long time wheel friction.
It is also used in the decoration of building outer-walls and all kinds of ceramic. There is mainly 1-2 mm, 2-3 mm, 3-4 mm, 600-850 microns, 300-600 microns, 180-300, and less than 180 microns etc. as well customized specifications customers require.

The glass bead can be produced based on the standard of countries or areas, such as EN1423/1424, AASHTO M247, BS6088, JIS R3301 and KS L2521 etc.
