According to market forecasts, by 2015, demand for large-size touchscreens for tablets is expected to reach 230 million units, with graphene playing a central role. To accelerate this growth, Shanghai Nanjiang Group has partnered with the Chongqing Research Institute to launch the "Large-Area Single-Layer Graphene Industrialization Project," with an initial investment of 267 million yuan. The project has already secured a base in Chongqing, aiming to establish the first production line within a year and achieve a capacity of 10 million graphene units annually. This collaboration signals a strong commitment to bringing graphene technology from the lab to the mass market.
