Common faults and elimination of parking lot system

Failure phenomenon 1:


Move the card close to the card reader, you can hear the beep, but you can't open the barrier, the Chinese display shows "invalid card".

Possible Causes:


â‘  The card held is an invalid card (a card that has not been issued or authorized);
â‘¡ The gate control line connection between the gate and the card reader is incorrect or not connected.
â‘¢ The card reader is already under computer control (the control switch has been short-circuited), and the parking lot monitoring is not turned on.

Symptom 2:


Move the card close to the card reader, the buzzer sounds, the Chinese display does not respond, and the card number read is not visible in the software monitoring interface (the communication between the card reader and the computer is abnormal).

Possible Causes:


â‘  The connection between the controller and the computer is incorrect;
â‘¡The serial port set in the software does not match the actual serial port.

Symptom 3:


Click the 〖Open Gate〗 button in the monitoring interface, the gate is not opened, but the gate can be opened with the manual button.

Possible Causes:


â‘  The "control switch" in the card reader is not short-circuited (all are disconnected at the factory and are in the offline working state, and when connected to the computer for network control, the short-circuit is in the online state);
â‘¡ The computer and the card reader cannot communicate normally, and the controller cannot receive the opening command. (Check whether the connection of the computer serial port is normal and the parameter settings are correct)

Symptom 4:


The car will not brake.

Possible Causes:


â‘ Incorrect embedding of the ground sense coil or damage or breakage of the coil;
â‘¡Insufficient power of vehicle detector power supply (Max250mA) or improper adjustment of induction sensitivity (too high or too low);
â‘¢ The "COM" terminal of the ground sensor and the "GND" public ground terminal of the barrier controller are disconnected or have poor contact.

Symptom 5:


With image contrast function, but the image cannot be seen when entering the parking lot monitoring interface.

Possible Causes:


â‘  The video card is not installed correctly (such as the driver is not installed correctly);
â‘¡ The camera is not powered on or the connection between the camera and the video card is incorrect;
â‘¢ The parameter setting of the parking lot software is not correct (for example, if you choose not to shoot at the entrance or exit).

Symptom 6:


The automatic card ejection machine cannot eject the card (after detecting the vehicle and pressing the "card withdraw" button, the card ejection machine does not respond or the card ejector is in motion but cannot eject the card).

Possible Causes:


â‘ If the card ejector does not respond after pressing the "Card Takeout" button, it may be that the card ejector has not been inserted or the card ejector has not been powered up (the power plug has fallen off);
â‘¡If the card ejector is activated but the card cannot be ejected after pressing the "Card Retrieval" button, it may be that the gap between the card ejection slots is too small and the card is stuck and cannot be ejected

Symptom 7:


Chinese display is not displayed.

Possible Causes:


Poor contact of Chinese display power supply; bad display power supply;

Symptom 8:
When reading the card on the card reader at the entrance or exit, the card number transferred to the computer is sometimes correct (can be opened), and sometimes it cannot be opened.

Possible Causes:


â‘  The line encounters strong interference (such as laying the communication line and the AC power line together);
â‘¡The line is too long, beyond the effective communication distance (200M), the signal is seriously declining;
â‘¢ The ground terminal (signal ground) of the control card main board of the card reader is short-circuited with the AC power ground (power ground), causing communication interference.

Symptom 9:


Click "School Time" in the parking lot import and export monitoring interface, "School Time Successful" appears first, and then "Communication Error / Failure" (after checking that all hardware devices are intact)

Possible Causes:


â‘  The line encounters strong interference (such as laying the communication line and the AC power line together);
â‘¡The network extender is damaged and the input / output signal is distorted;
â‘¢ In the software settings, the communication delay setting is too low (generally the lowest is 200ms), too low will cause communication failure.
