For each carbon isotope obtained, it was found that 75% of the ethanol in the former is derived from the burning of biofuels, while the latter's ethanol in the air comes from plants in the park.

According to the researchers, according to estimates of global emissions, the amount of ethanol released by living plants is currently three times that of artificial sources. However, if the amount of ethanol used in our fuel continues to increase, the amount of ethanol emitted by motor vehicles will eventually exceed that of natural resources.
