The research team developed the membrane separation brine through in-depth research on the mass transfer law of each ion in the membrane separation process, the correlation between the magnesium-lithium separation effect, the concentration of lithium concentration and the conductivity, and the mechanism of the influence of impurity ions on the membrane separation process. This technology uses low-lithium brine as the raw material after potassium precipitation in Yiliping Salt Lake, makes full use of the characteristics of different membrane separation processes, adopts a pure physical process, carries out brine pretreatment, high-efficiency separation of magnesium and lithium, and high-rate enrichment of lithium, a successful breakthrough The technical bottleneck of the engineering application of "gradient coupled membrane separation technology" has been improved, which has improved the separation effect of magnesium and lithium and the recovery rate of lithium.
