Product Description

Product Application

A cost-effective Catalase enables safe dyeing without any negative impacts on fabrics or dyes.

Description
Catalase CA-520 is an oxidoreductase derived from submerged fermentation of microorganism through extraction and refining process. It decomposes hydrogen-peroxide into water and oxygen in a highly efficient way without any side effects on textiles and dyestuffs.

Catalase CA-520 is used to eliminate hydrogen peroxide residues originating from the bleaching process of textile fabrics and to improve dyeing quality with reduced processing time and less effluents. It is also used to prevent skin irritation that might be caused due to the presence of hydrogen peroxide residues in textile fabrics after bleaching and/or sterilizing at hotels, hospitals and laundries.

Application and Benefits
CA-520 decomposes hydrogen-peroxide into water and oxygen in a highly efficient way without any side effect on textiles and dyestuffs. CA-520 benefits the textile processing as follows:
1.Safe dyeing with no impact on fabrics or dyes
2.Reduce consumption of rinsing water at least by 3/4
3.Save washing time roughly by 1/2
4.Less electricity consumption
5.Considerable savings of waste water treatment costs
6.Prevent skin irritation that might be caused due to the presence of hydrogen peroxide residues in textile fabrics after bleaching
.

Effect of pH and Temperature
CA-520 is active at a wide pH range of 6 to 10 at 30 to 60º C. The optimal pH is 7.0 at the optimal temperature of 40º C.

Effect of Substrate Concentration
The reaction speed of CA-520 has a positive correlation with the concentration of substrates when the concentration of hydrogen peroxide is less than 1000ppm. However, the reaction speed decreases when the concentration of hydrogen peroxide is excessive high.

Dosage
The exact dosage should be adjusted to fit the actual situation.
