EU countries build offshore power grids

International Energy Network News: The memorandum signed by the Minister and the European Commissioner in Brussels recently opened a new era of offshore wind power and cleared up high price barriers for the electricity trade between EU countries. Among them, it is worth noting:
First, EU governments have cooperated to identify and eliminate barriers to cross-border electricity trade.
Second, the ministers also reached agreement on simplifying the complicated and lengthy approval process. These obstacles hinder the planning and construction of a multinational off-shore power grid.
